Jeremy King, the senior vice president of Pinterest has been appointed by Wayfair to its board of directors. As a senior vice president and head of engineering at Pinterest, he is in charge of company’s technical vision and the engineering team building products, platforms and machine learning systems. Jeremy King along with hi team have built Pinterest’s visual discover engine and being and expertise in e-commerce section he oversee customer, shopping experience, merchant and supply chain technologies over cloud and data platforms.
Jeremy King has also worked for Walmart and Jet as executive vice president and chief technology officer – leading their e-commerce technology team – and also as a vice president software development and engineering at eBay from 2001 to 2008.
Niraj Shah the CEO, co-chairman and co-founder of Wayfair stated that through Jeremy king’s lead and knowledge about technology and data it will be great help for Wayfair to continue the scale of technology platform and provide great experience to the customers and supply partners.
