Isbjörn of Sweden will add 46 percent recycled wool from Italy to its Shaun Hoodie and Jumpsuit in its Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
Shaun replaces Isbjörn’s Wooly range, which was first launched in 2018, continuing the company’s green promise to use sustainable fabrics and manufacturing processes and fine-tuning existing products to make them more sustainable and durable.
Shaun is made from recycled wool manufactured by Milior in Prato, Italy which has a long tradition in the textile industry including fiber regeneration. The recycling process removes materials from the waste disposal process, conserving water and chemicals. Shaun Hoodie and Jumpsuit are also Oeko-Tex approved.
The recycled wool and synthetic blend ensure the hoodie and jumpsuit are comfortable with thermal performance for the wearer. The color palette, inspired by nature, includes PineSilver, LunarBeam and PearlBlue.
