Mumbai City: Kusumgar Corporates, India’s leading technical textile manufacturing company in association with the Textile Manufactures Department of Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute -Mumbai bring to you the grand finale of “INNOTEX 2022”, the country’s first and only national project competition of its type, with the aim to recognize the top minds in technical textile sector.
INNOTEX encourages students and academia from all over India to submit their finest ideas for technical textile innovation.
The grand finale of the competition will be held on 22nd April 2022 in offline mode at Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Auditorium, VJTI Mumbai in the presence of Ms. Roop Rashi Mahapatra, IA & AS, honorable Textile Commissioner, Government of India as the Chief Guest for the event.

The competition has received a great response from students all over the country and a total of 11 entries were received of which three are shortlisted by an eminent panel of evaluators for the final round.
On receiving such an overwhelming response Dr. Suranjana Gangopadhyay, Program Coordinator from VJTI said, “It is very heartening to see the novel initiative conceptualized by Kusumgar Corporates Private Limited who has taken this unique route to inculcate and encourage the culture of Research & Innovation amongst the budding Textile Technologist in their formative years; we are confident that this unique CSR approach by Kusumgar Corporates will help in bridging the prevailing vacuum in the technical textile Sector in India”.
Dr. Arvind Bhongade, Head of the Textile Manufactures Department of VJTI has appealed to the entire textile fraternity to join on 22nd April at VJTI to witness and encourage participants of the event.
