The LYCRA Company and HeiQ have formed a comprehensive partnership spanning several technological and brand platforms. The firms foresee consumer-branded breakthroughs in the market segments of stretch, thermoregulation, freshness, and sustainability. “We are excited to announce the start of this partnership, which is the result of talks that began two years ago,” said Steve Stewart, The Company’s chief brand and innovation officer.
The LYCRA Company and HeiQ provide proven knowledge to the worldwide textile value chain, which includes yarn processors, fabric mills, garment makers, brands, and retailers. The first of several innovation platforms will be launched this summer, providing a new level of comfort and confidence to consumers by combining freshness and antiviral advantages with the quality and comfort of stretch fabrics. Preparation for this invention is already underway, with an initial focus on Chinese local value chains for the Chinese consumer, and its debut is scheduled for the Intertextile exhibition in Shanghai at the end of August.
HeiQ Group and The LYCRA Company have established a partnership to improve textile comfort, performance, and sustainability. The goal of these collaborations will be to meet consumer demands for high-quality, long-lasting, and environmentally friendly clothing. Sample fabrics and outfits will be available for commercial selection in late summer.
