On Wednesday, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) Chief Executive Officer Arun Vir Singh inaugurated a colourful and illuminated branding structure to promote and raise awareness about the Apparel Park that will be built near Jewar International Airport along the Yamuna Expressway. Noida Apparel Export Cluster built the structure, which is about 500 metres from the Jewar toll plaza (NAEC). The Apparel Park would be built in Sector 29 along the Yamuna Expressway, near the planned International Airport in Jewar.
The apparel park will be developed in around 150 acres of land offering nearly a hundred entrepreneurs to establish their apparel production/export unit. It is expected to provide employment to nearly three lakhs people and an additional annual foreign exchange worth Rs 50 crore. The NAEC has also proposed to set up apparel training centers in nearby villages to provide training to local people and they will be employed in production units in apparel parks.
