YNAP CEO Marchetti joins Armani

Federico Marchetti CEO of Yoox Net-a-Porter (YNAP) joints fashion house, Giorgio Armani, as a non-executive director. Marchetti has been credited for the high sale of fashion and luxury goods on the internet. Marchetti founded the online retailer Yoox, got it listed, and pushed for a merger with Net-a-Porter. The Armani online flagship store, Armani.com, was designed and is managed by YNAP, now owned by Cartier maker Richemont. “I am honored to unite today with Giorgio Armani and its board and I look forward to what we will achieve together in the future”, Marchetti said on Instagram.
