This is to inform you that the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has issued a Notification vide Case No. SSR-06/2020 dated 23rd November, 2020 thereby informing that the Authority investigated the concern over imports of All Fully Drawn or Fully Oriented Yarn/ Spin Drawn Yarn/ Flat Yarn of Polyester originating in or exported from China PR and Thailand. The DGTR has reached to a conclusion that there is continued dumping of the subject goods from the subject countries and the performance of the Domestic Industry has improved and it has not suffered injury during the said period.
There is a likelihood of continuation/ recurrence of dumping and consequent injury to the domestic industry, in case the ADD in force is allowed to cease against imports from China PR. The information on record does not show any likelihood of injury, in case the ADD in force is allowed to cease against imports from Thailand.
