SK Global Chemical buys a 10% interest in a North American waste plastic recycling firm

On Wednesday, SK Global Chemical announced the acquisition of a 10% ownership investment in Loop Industries, a North American business that develops waste plastic degradation and recycling technology. The two businesses will form a joint venture company next year and begin construction on a factory in South Korea that will process 84,000 tonnes of PET per year by 2023.
