Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated the Cotton Ginning Mill and Bus Terminal at Digapahandi, highlighting the importance of small town development in the state. The Hon’ble Chief Minister anticipated that these facilities will improve the inhabitants of Digapahandi’s living conditions and economic situation.
According to the Chief Minister, the State Government is focusing on roads, drainage, and drinking water infrastructure for the welfare of the people of Digapahandi. According to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, all homes in Digapahandi have access to piped water, and the newly opened bus terminal will make transportation even easier.
The Chief Minister said that the inaugurated cotton ginning mill will play a significant role in increasing the income of the farmers and diversification of their farming. State Government has invested Rs 3.24 crore for the Ginning Mill, which will create a huge market for cotton farmers in both Ganjam and Gajapati districts. Chief Minister highlighted the development of sports infrastructure in the State, including a multi-purpose indoor stadium at Digapahandi.
