South Korea was one of the first countries to experience a COVID-19 outbreak,with its first case,imported from Wuhan, China.
South Korean apparel manufacturer Hansae Co. Ltd will locate its first US manufacturing operation in Greenfield North Business Park in Garner in North Carolina.The facility will focus on producing personal protective equipment (PPE) for the US market. It may expand to other products in the future depending on market conditions.
Hansae Co. Ltd will start commencing the operation in the last quarter of 2020.The business will be run under Hansae’s subsidiary AMP [Apparel Manufacturing Partners]. The company will initially hire up to 10 employees and invest $2 million in the new location. the company will be located at the Greenfield North Business Park at the intersection of U.S. Business Highway 70 and Interstate 40.
