Jiang Li has been promoted to Technology Manager at the Spartech Innovation Center at Spartech, a maker of engineered thermoplastics and specialised packaging solutions.
Jiang will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and support personnel on innovative product development, client sample orders, material assessment, and cost-cutting projects in his critical job.
“With Jiang Li leading Spartech’s innovation team, we will be able to take our plastic solutions to new heights,” stated John Vandeven, Spartech CIO and Vice President of Technology. “He will also oversee the development of novel material platforms, including innovative packaging options, as well as assist our focus on environmental initiatives.”
Jiang has been with Spartech for five and a half years and has previously worked in product development at Pactiv in Rochester, NY and Advanced Composites in Nashville, TN. Jiang Li has a PhD in chemistry from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis’ Olin School of Business.
