Hero, an online retail start-up, has been acquired by Klarna

Klarna, a Swedish fintech company that offers online banking services, has acquired Hero, an online retail start-up.
With this purchase, Klarna now intends to extend Hero to all of its 250,000 retail partners, allowing their in-store staff to become content creators — giving evaluations and real-time guidance.
Klarna, a Swedish online shopping startup, has acquired Hero, a social shopping firm located in London. As a result of the transaction, all of Hero’s employees will now be part of Klarna. Klarna handled over US $ 35 billion in online transactions in 2019 and employs over 3,500 employees. Klarna is one of the world’s fastest growing firms, with a market share of more than 20%.
