Global MSME Forum – a Not-For-Profit organisation made for supporting MSMEs of India – organised the inaugural event of its ‘Bounce Back Series’ in association with Invest Advise, which is a Premium Wealth Management Consulting firm, on Saturday (16th October) in The Suryaa Hotel (New Delhi).

The purpose of the series is to create awareness and capacity building of the progressive MSMEs and handhold them, wherever possible, to BOUNCE BACK and achieve their vision.

Gaurav Kumar Rai, Director, Global MSME Forum – who has closely worked with Ministry of MSME under various projects like Lean Clusters, Energy Efficiency, Technology Upgradation, ZED – took the baton in his hands and spoke about the policies of incentives/subsidies/reimbursement in different categories and areas which the MSME is unaware of.

“COVID-19 has made future uncertain but there are a lot of opportunities that MSME industry needs to capitalise on in order to see long-term profitability in their businesses. There are certain areas where MSMEs can get benefits from both State Governments and Central Government – Quality; Productivity; Scalability; Compliance and Risk Management; Training and Skill Development, amongst others, but the irony is the industry lacks awareness on how to avail these benefits! Global MSME Forum can help the industry in availing a policy in a defined period as per rules and regulations,” commented Gaurav.

More than 60 leaders and influencers participated from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttrakhand to attend the event.

Jyotiee Thakkur, Director, Global MSME Forum – who also owns a garment export house named Blueberry Apparels in Noida – told  “This is just the beginning of our endeavours towards uplifting the Indian MSME industry. We will keep organising engaging events in future and support businesses in timely revival.”

The sponsor of the event Invest Advise has assisted businesses including garment firms in laying investment strategies for them over the years. Invest Advise is working with Omaxe Group to build Omaxe Chowk (a new-age and state-of-art mall) in Chandni Chowk which is connected to all 7 major destinations in this area.
