Garcia, a Dutch clothing company, is the latest to join the countrywide Denim Deal.
The initiative, which was launched in November of last year, has tasked signatories such as Mud Jeans, Scotch & Soda, and Kuyichi with using at least 5% recycled content in every pair of jeans produced, as well as producing upwards of one million pairs of jeans with 20% post-consumer recycled content each year.
Garcia argues that adhering with the framework complements its sustainability goals, and that it hopes to launch its most sustainable denim range next year.
