Famous French sports clothing brand, Decathlon, and the Urmi group donated forty thousand pieces of facemasks to Dhaka north city corporation (DNCC).
The president of BGMEA, Mr. Faruque Hassan handed the face masks to the mayor of DNCC, Md. Atiqul Islam.
Mayor Atiqul Islam praised Giant Group, Urmi Group, and Decathlon for donating the face masks, which are a critical component in preventing Coronavirus infection.
BGMEA president requested all the entrepreneurs and workers to follow the norms and health safety guidelines to stop the spread of COVID-19.
BGMEA has previously given 12,994 pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) and 177,746 pieces of face masks for distribution to health care personnel, hospitals, and law enforcement agencies.
