CICU has formed a textile and garment sector committee

The Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) has established a high-level textile and garment committee.
The decision was made at a meeting held at CICU, where issues concerning the textile, garment, and dyeing industries were also reviewed.
“It was discussed that all sectors will operate under the umbrella of CICU, so that concerns can be addressed at higher authority,” CICU stated in a statement on Tuesday.
S. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President of CICU, and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary of CICU, both stated that a high level committee for the textile and apparel sector will enhance CICU.
More than 50 industrialists attended the meeting, including Madam Mridula Jain of Shingora Textiles Ltd., Sh. Gurmukh Singh of Oster Knit Pvt. Ltd., Rajnish Batla of Decent Finishers, Rajwant Singh of Sangat Dyeing House, Rajat Sood of Orient Knit Fab, Satish Lakhanpal of Ponahari Dyeing, Subhash Jain of Eakta Dyeing & Finish, Lalit Jain, Adinath Dyeing & Finisher, Naveen Kandhav, Vani Spinners Pvt. Ltd.
