China’s e-commerce logistics activities will grow

According to a manufacturing study conducted jointly by the China Federation of Logistics and Buying and e-commerce giant JD.com, China’s e-commerce logistic support sector grew moderately in October. According to the survey, the index tracking e-commerce logistics activities increased to 111.5 points in October, up 0.3 percentage points from September.
In October, total demand for e-commerce logistics increased, with the micro tracking overall business quantity reaching 127.3 points, up 0.6 points from the previous month.
According to an official news agency, demand for e-commerce in remote regions has preserved its growth momentum, with the sub index tracking e-commerce logistical challenges in these regions trying to stand at 129.4 points, up 0.7 points from March.
According to the survey, popularity of e logistical support will continue to rise in November, owing to the ‘Double 11′ (November 11 is Singles’ Day) shopping spree.
