AG Knitwear with a twist

AG, a California-based company known for its premium denim, has created a new line of fine gauge knitwear that is distinguished by a specifically twisted yarn that provides a pleasant handle and little shrinking after washing.
AG’s Jersey Knit series blends S and Z-twist yarns to prevent twisting and torquing and maintain seams in place. In comparison to the industry standard of 1 full inch, each garment is projected to shrink by 14 of an inch during its lifetime. Each piece of the collection is assembled in a single location, decreasing the company’s carbon impact substantially.
AG Jeans has released its second knitwear line in celebration of its 20th anniversary. AG Jeans was created in Los Angeles, California in 2000 by two denim industry powerhouses who brought their views together. This is the brand’s second foray into the knitwear industry, after the Ribbed Knit line, which debuted earlier this year.
