The 47th edition of India International Knit Fair (IIKF) concluded in Tiruppur with business enquiries of around Rs. 300 crore. New buyers from countries like Sri Lanka, Mauritius, the Uniyted Arab Emirates, the United States, the United Kingdom, Bangladesh, Europe and Canada visited the February 17-19 event to identify and source their requirements.
More than 30 buyers and 142 buying houses or agents visited the event organised by Apparel Export Promotion Council, according to a report in a top Indian business daily.
Around 40 leading exporters from Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Chennai, and Kolkata participated.
