Printed Easy, a web-to-print specialist in the UK, has recently invested in Durst’s Tau RSC E LED inkjet technology to boost production capacity for labels and stickers by 300%. The new press in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, runs at 52m/min and features durable CMYK plus white UV LED ink.
The Durst Tau RSC E LED has begun production and offers advantages such as faster speed, wider color gamut, and the use of LED drying technology. Printed Easy has chosen Durst technology for their first inkjet investment, showing their commitment to innovation and efficiency. Durst’s Tau technology, which can print up to 12000 x 1200 dpi, is gaining popularity among customers who see LED digital inkjet as the future of their business. Managing Director Jon Lancaster praises the machine for its performance on PP substrates without the need for a primer, along with its improved color output. The introduction of LED drying technology also adds to the overall efficiency of the Durst Tau RSC E LED.
