Serai, an HSBC digital B2B platform that facilitates worldwide commerce for clothing firms, has developed a number of solutions to assist apparel companies in showcasing their goods and skills, growing their network, and learning about their supply chain.
Serai has witnessed a 23 percent growth in Indian clothing firms joining the platform during the last quarter. Serai, which welcomed its first Indian firm last year, currently has over 2000 Indian brands, suppliers, and manufacturers on its platform. Since its inception in 2019, Serai has introduced a number of services geared at enabling clothing companies to network, form strong connections and trade with one another.
Serai has launched a private sourcing service for buyers with unique requirements. This shortens the procurement cycle, which is especially beneficial for small and medium-sized purchasers who may lack the network and resources of a bigger company. In addition, the firm released its Traceability service, which allows garment companies to trace the cotton and other raw materials that go into their goods.
