Welspun India, a home textiles giant, has set aside Rs 600 crore in capital expenditure for FY22 to complete development projects across its three business verticals.

The growth projects for the flooring, advanced textile, and home textile companies that were in various stages of completion in FY21 will be finished in FY22.
The company has earmarked capex of around Rs 225 crore over FY21 and FY22, and will see the benefits accrue from as early as Q1/FY22. In the home textile segment, the company has an annual capacity of 80,000 tonne for bath linen, 90 million mtr for bed linen, 10 million sq mtr for rugs and carpets.
