Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles Spring Edition 2026 Returns

Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition will return from 11 to 13 March 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai, responding to growing global demand for high-performance, functional, and sustainable bedding solutions. As modern lifestyles place increasing pressure on daily routines and sleep health, the exhibition will place a strong emphasis on innovations designed to improve sleep quality and overall well-being.
The 2026 edition builds on the strong momentum of last year’s fair, which attracted more than 25,000 visitors from 85 countries and regions, marking a 7.5% increase in attendance and reflecting broader international engagement. With healthier sleep becoming a central consumer priority, the upcoming edition is expected to further strengthen connections between buyers and suppliers while accelerating innovation across the global bedding and home textiles market.

A platform beyond sourcing, focused on innovation and trends
Commenting on the significance of the upcoming edition, Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said:
“Our fair is more than just a sourcing platform; it is a vibrant showcase for the latest products featuring new materials, technologies, and innovative features. Industry players rely on this show to stay ahead of market trends. The upcoming edition will spotlight captivating bedding advancements alongside fringe events which cater to rising interest in China in products that help improve sleep quality, including the return of the Sleep Aid Summit. We encourage both domestic and international industry players to join us and share their latest works, connecting directly with target customers at this dynamic platform.”
Comfort, quality and innovation reshape China’s bedding market
China’s fast-expanding sleep economy continues to redefine home textile consumption patterns. The sector is projected to reach RMB 658.7 billion (USD 92.6 billion) by 2027, underlining robust demand for sleep-enhancing products. According to the 2025 China Sleep Health Survey Report, 65.9% of respondents reported sleep-related issues, with more than half actively adopting intervention strategies.
As awareness of sleep’s impact on health and quality of life increases, consumers are showing a stronger willingness to invest in premium bedding solutions that deliver superior comfort, functionality, and long-term wellness benefits. Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition 2026 will provide exhibitors with a strategic opportunity to align product innovation with these evolving preferences, while gaining market insights through direct interaction with industry professionals.
Beyond bedding, the fair will showcase a comprehensive portfolio of home textile categories, including towelling, rugs, table and kitchen linen, home textile technologies, textile design, upholstery, soft furnishing fabrics, curtain fabrics, and more. Sustainability, innovation, and trend-driven development will remain core themes across the exhibition.
Highlighting the value of participation, exhibitor Ms Huang Chunjie, Deputy General Manager of Sales of Yantai North Home Textile Co Ltd, noted at the 2025 edition:
“Participating in the fair has deepened my understanding of market trends and consumer preferences, which is beneficial for our sales. China’s home textiles market has great potential, with increasing demand for sustainable and innovative products. Consumers are prioritising high-quality sleep and are more conscious of environmental protection, prompting us to develop functional products like sleep aids and antibacterial solutions.”
Knowledge-led fringe programme and immersive showcases
Complementing the exhibitor showcase, the fair will feature a fringe programme designed to keep attendees informed about emerging trends and technological developments. The Sleep Aid Summit will return as a key highlight, focusing on the integration of smart home technologies and bedding solutions through expert forums and the release of influential sleep research reports.
In addition, the Sleeping Aid Display Area will present a curated selection of bedding products across five comfort-driven display concepts, each illustrating future innovation pathways in sleep technology and wellness. These interactive features will offer visitors hands-on engagement with next-generation products and direct access to industry expertise.
