IKEA launches new collection made from rice straw

IKEA is a global leader in life at home founded in 1943 in Sweden. IKEA is now a worldwide retailer of affordable, well-designed products and solutions for every room in in the house. IKEA recently announced the launch a collection – FÖRÄNDRING, it is a rice-straw based collection Made in India.

The products are handmade from leftover rice straws that are otherwise burned. Skilled Indian artisans create unique home décor products using the rice straw.

Taking about sustainability and sustainable products, IKEA is actually up with this concept and has launched the beautiful FÖRÄNDRING collection. The collection includes lamp shade, rugs, baskets and other decorative items.
