Sherwin Williams has released their Colormix forecast of color trends 2022 and a theme of ‘mode’ which features creativity in design. The forecast presents total 40 shades divided in four different coloration as it gives deep berry tones, electric yellows, warm neutrals and muted greens.
The forty shades distributed in four new palettes are Method – it presents the neutral vibe and the balance between organic neutrals and tonal luxury as it rouse from the 1980s postmodernism, art deco and modern organics; Opus – this palette gives out a vibe of mystery and luxury as the blackberry and Iron Ore mixes and provides creative expression; Dreamland – palette rouse from biomimicry and sustainability as it features soft forms of Rosy and Cucuzza Verde tones bringing out the sweetness of bud and bloom; Ephemera – the last palette, it merges old and new as it features the mixing of Sierra Redwood, Peace yellow and Basque Green tones and giving warm nostalgia vibe.
Sue Wadden the director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams stated that making the ‘Mode’ theme while keeping the balance of color presented last year was a new way of exploring more than what they knew.
