What’s more is that in the light of the recent accidental blasts in Beirut, H&M has pledged US $ 100,000 to support the Lebanese Red Cross in their endeavour to help the country emerge from the tragedy.

Sandra Mansour is famous for her attention to detail and craftsmanship that borrow inspiration from her surroundings and art.

Similarly, for the purpose of the collaboration, Mansour has taken to the elements of nature and female artists like Dorothea Tanning, Lena Leclercq and Toyen.

The collection, named ‘Fleur du Soleil’, will consist of dresses, blouses, skirts, a printed T-shirt, tailored blazer and a hoodie on the grey, ivory and black colourway. True to its name, it will also feature dot, sunflower and floral motifs on the clothes.

Head of womenswear design at H&M, Maria Ostblom revealed the company’s excitement behind collaborating with Mansour, “The first things you notice about Sandra Mansour’s designs are their dreamy qualities and sheer beauty, but then you get further drawn into the craftsmanship, the storytelling and the modern youthfulness. We’re proud to be collaborating with such a trailblazer and excited to be launching the collection worldwide!”
