HILTI PARTNERS WITH I2U SOCIAL FOUNDATION FOR EACH ONE PLANT ONE CAMPAIGN

Summary: Hilti, a leading construction and building products multinational, launched Each One Plant One campaign in association i2u Social Foundation, a NGO support ecosystem working with hundreds of NGOs across India. The drive focused on SDG13 (Climate Action) and aligns with the goal of being a responsible eco-friendly company by reducing their own CO2 emissions, energy and water consumption.

New Delhi, 22 April 2022: Hilti India, a leading construction and building products multinational, launched a plantation drive called Each One Plant One campaign in association i2u Social Foundation, a NGO support ecosystem working with hundreds of NGOs across India. The drive focused on SDG13 (Climate Action) aligns with the corporate goal of being a responsible eco-friendly company by reducing their own CO2 emissions, energy and water consumption. The Each One Plant One drive will be conducted across India encouraging their employees and stakeholders to be more responsible and proactive in taking care of environment.

As the implementing partner, i2u Social Foundation in association with Tapas Foundation facilitated the drive with plantation of 200 saplings in a village school near Gurugram, which saw spirited participation from the Company’s leaders, employees and stakeholders in large numbers inspiring the students the school to follow suit.

Explaining the objective behind the drive, Sandeep Arora from Hilti said“Hilti is an eco-conscious company and always stresses on the environmental care through their innovative environmentally friendly products and technologies.” The event saw members of Hilti being felicitated with mementos by their leaders to acknowledge their contribution for the environment.

Head of i2u Social Foundation, Alisha Vijoy said, “It is very heartening to see the corporate sector to encourage their employees and stakeholders to become more environment-conscious.”
