Gartex Texprocess India opened on 11th May with more than 142 exhibitors displaying technological advancements driving new-age customer engagement

Redefining Indian textiles and garments, the second Mumbai edition of Gartex Texprocess India was inaugurated by Mr Sharad Jaipuria, President, Denim Manufacturers Association & CMD, Ginni International Ltd, at Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai today. The three-day event served as a common platform for
interaction among the stakeholders across the textile and garment value chain.

Gartex Texprocess India has become a crucial platform for bridging the gap between innovation and application by opening doors to innovative product showcases and providing the opportunity to engage with more than 142 companies from garment and textile machinery. Reaffirming the potential of the Indian market, the trade fair opened its doors to intense discussions, domestic collaborations and an optimistic outlook of the textile and garment industry.

Sharing his thoughts at the day of inauguration, Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd said: “Gartex Texprocess India provides a great opportunity for the Indian manufacturers to participate in the growth of textiles and garments by becoming a key supplier in the global market. The Mumbai edition of Gartex Texprocess India saw top brands such as IIGM, E.H Turel, Balaji Sewing Machines, True Colour, Jaysynth, Mehala, Orange O tech, DCC, Epson, Jindal Worldwide, Raymond UCO Denim and more displaying unique inventions on the show floor.

The opening day also witnessed concurrent platforms such as Denim Show and Screen Print India – Textile providing the opportunity to evaluate and tap new markets in building connections with the global industry. Alongside these, there is also an insightful session on ‘Denim  Talk – Building India as a Global Denim Destination.’

Industry bodies extending their support to the three-day exhibition were the Ministry of Textile, Denim  Manufacturers Associations (DMA) and Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI). With a strong list of exhibitors providing enhancing solutions, Gartex Texprocess Mumbai is a one-stop comprehensive package for key visitors attending the three-day exhibition concluding on 13 May 2023.
