Innovative tech startup Ettos is developing their textile traceability software more quickly thanks to support from Innovate UK’s Creative Catalyst initiative. In order to “revolutionize transparency and traceability in the textile industry,” the platform offers resources to assist customers in making educated decisions about what to buy and makes it possible for companies to comply with the increasing consumer demands for sustainability and moral manufacturing methods.

Ettos tackles a major issue facing the fashion industry: supply chain transparency, by fusing its knowledge of fashion technology and sustainability. Their platform uses cutting-edge technology to track and verify textiles throughout their entire lifecycle, from raw materials to finished goods.

With the support of Innovate UK, Ettos will be able to expand their platform and let brands easily incorporate DPPs into their business processes. Romano highlighted that the funding will allow the business to integrate state-of-the-art technology that will improve the scalability of the platform and assist companies in putting complete sustainability strategies into action by means of supply chain mapping and material claim tracking.
