The cutting-edge Film Bonding series, created for sophisticated sew-free bonding, has been introduced by Freudenberg Performance Materials Apparel. The precision and efficiency of production processes are improved by this new line of solutions. Freudenberg Apparel is growing its Net Bonding and Dot Bonding line in tandem with this introduction in order to cater to the distinct demands of the stretch active, intimate, and athleisure wear markets.

Strong shear bonding and recovery are provided by the high-quality adhesive film structure found in the Film Bonding series. This considerably increases comfort and durability by enabling clothing to stretch to fit different body forms while keeping its shape. Additionally, the series gets rid of big seams, leaving textiles with a smooth and tidy finish.

The film bonding solutions from Freudenberg Apparel can be ordered in tape form and are capable of meeting weight requirements ranging from 90 to 220 g/m2, with possibilities as thin as 80 µm. Various softness levels of TPE and TPU variants are available in this series, which makes them perfect for stitch-free bonding in items such as leggings, bras, vests, and briefs.

Freudenberg has expanded its range of TPE polymer adhesive Net Bonding series to include an oval net structure in addition to its Film Bonding series. This adds to the current diamond and hexagon patterns, providing more options for a variety of uses. The Net Bonding series’ enlarged weight range of 50-240 g/m2 makes it perfect for making breathable, elastic, and structurally sound clothing, such as sports bras and leggings.
