Three major industry groups have denounced the Senate Budget Anomalies Committee’s self-imposed conclusions and agreed to work together to combat anomalies in the federal budget for 2021-22.

The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has requested a fresh meeting to look into the budget irregularities. They were outspoken in their opposition to the Senate Budget Anomalies Committee’s self-imposed judgments. The committee made budget enamel choices without consulting the members.
Shariq Vohra, President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that the Karachi Chamber is supporting the shopkeepers in their battle. He stated that the FPCCI has issued a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan in which the prime minister was informed of the business community’s concerns. He stated that the KCCI will provide all possible assistance to the yarn dealers.
