Spinning Mills Build Capacity, Improve Production By 5 Lakh Kg Of Yarn A Day

According to G. Arulmozhi, president of the Open end Spinning Mills' Association, at least 250 new machines have been introduced to open end spinning mills in Tamil Nadu in the last year. With the addition of additional machines, production capacity has increased by about 5 lakh kg of yarn per day, bringing the total production in Tamil Nadu to 35 lakh kg per day. This yarn is used to make bedsheets, Bermuda shorts, leggings, lungis, and other clothing.
