The three-days “Yarn Expo-2023”, organized by The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industries(SGCCI) witnessed over 20,000 visitors from India and abroad. The exhibitors has displayed variety of different yarn and are expected to get business of more than 700 crores in the coming period.
SGCCI President Mr. Ramesh Vaghasia said, the union government has decided the target of 250 million USD market for the textile industry and “Yarn Expo-2023” will prove to be helpful in achieving this. Foreign buyers from Japan, Singapore, Nepal and Bangladesh also attended the three days exhibition. The buyers from outside the state placed huge orders to the exhibitors. The exhibitors are expecting a growth of more than 20% in the business during the new festive season and they are expected to get a business of more than Rs. 700 crore in the next six months.
A large number of exhibitors also showed their interest for advance booking in “Yarn Expo-2024” to be organized by the SGCCI in the coming year.
This exhibition was organized in an area of about 1 lakh 16 thousand square feet and about 90 exhibitors participated in the same. Different qualities of yarn like… 100% Polyester Textured Yarn, Dope Dyed Polyester Yarn, Recycled Polyester Yarn, Sislo Polyester Yarn, Blend Yarn, ketonic Yarn, Air Textured Yarn, Slub Yarn, Cotton Look Polyester Yarn, Cotton Felt Polyester Yarn, Fancy Polyester Yarn, Inherent Fire Retardant Yarn and Inherent anti bacterial yarn etc. were displayed in the event.
