January 20th  2024 – Traveling is like dreaming: Drawing inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe’s famous aphorism, for SS 25, Iluna Group embarks on a sensory journey that is woven into every fabric of the collection, inspired by three destinations as diverse as they are evocative. The precise creative vision and unmatched expertise honed over the years, in a fusion of flair and innovation, give life to an eclectic collection, an ode to artisanal mastery and talent.

The three inspirational themes are the bon-ton of the Cote D’Azur, the mysterious Reynisfjara, and the vibrant Costiera Amalfitana . Places that stimulate emotions, vibrations, and energy, evoking an imagery that is “felt” and transforming into unique perceptual experiences that range from the tranquility of spring to the primal and impetuous charm of nature, to the summer sensuality of “Latin” colors and scents.

The journey begins on the Cote d’Azur, carrying its timeless beauty and the grace of the Mediterranean nature. It draws inspiration from lavender, wildflowers, and the sea breeze. The pastel colors, like delicate brushstrokes, recall the soft and harmonious tones that characterize this magnificent coast. A breath of wind, light as the ethereal dresses in Sangallo and fresh Vichy patterns.

In stark contrast, the forceful Reynisfjara in Iceland conveys the full power of wild elements. The black beach, unpredictable waves, subtle light, and organic and geometric designs hark back to a primordial era where the forces of nature reign supreme over everything. The ego disappears, and we become part of the whole. The colour palette is cold and deep, contrasted by soft shades touching on nude and powder blue.

And here we are on the Costiera Amalfitana, a symbol of the most authentic Italianity celebrating summer with Latin vibrations, sensuality, and picturesque landscapes. The strong earth colors emerge, contrasting with the seductive turquoise of the sea, the lush green of lemon trees dotting the landscape, and the burnt tones of rocks and cliffs.

Pioneering in the field of sustainability and continuously seeking low-impact environmental solutions with utmost respect for the planet, since 2018, Iluna Group has been GRS certified for its Green Label sustainable product line, a range that proposes a new responsible approach towards the environment and people, combining innovation, aesthetics, and 360-degree quality. From the polymer to the refined lace, Iluna Group ensures control and total traceability of the entire production chain, measuring the company’s sustainability growth through the Higgs Index.
ILUNA is  hitting  SS 2025 season  with its uttermost unique innovation, that does not strictly refer to a product, but involves a full water-saving industrial process indeed – thanks to the use of the new GRS certified Y.E.E.S.® green Double D fibre. This new pre consumer recycled polyamide that is dope dyed, allows a 55% saving in water usage; reduces energy consumption by 54%, and brings to a final 52% reduction on CO2 emissions per each ton of yarn processed. The secret lays in an innovative, non-dyeing process that includes heat setting and softening only and consequently improves a lot on low-consumption performances. As always, ILUNA keeps its front row place among sustainability supply chain avant-gardists.
Over the years, the company’s sustainable production share has continued to grow steadily, rising from 3% in 2018 to over 50% in 2022. Since 2016, the company has produced 7.5 million meters of Green Label lace using 92,810 kg of GRS-certified recycled polyamide, saving a water consumption of 1.5 million liters. Among the latest product innovations are the brand-new customizable Lurex GRS nets with equally certified prints, special finishes – such as printing and flocking – and, among the materials, organic cotton, FSC-certified mass-dyed viscose, and the recycled premium elastomer ROICA™ EF from the ROICA™ Eco Smart family.
