Exhibition Istanbul will continue to expand from Sept 11–13, 2024

The sixth edition of Texhibition Istanbul will take place from 11 to 13 September at the Istanbul Expo Center

∙ Over 500 exhibitors will be presenting a wide range of products such as woven fabrics, knitwear, denim, accessories, artificial leather and yarns covering 35,000 square metres

∙ Over 25,000 trade visitors are expected from more than 100 countries, including the European Union, Great Britain, the USA, North Africa and the Middle East

From September 11–13, 2024, the sixth edition of Texhibition Istanbul will bring together every aspect of the textile industry and provide a thorough overview of all product groups in the textile preliminary stage, ranging from knitwear and woven goods to yarns, denim, artificial leather, and textile accessories. Texhibition Istanbul has become a focal point for the global textile industry, emphasizing quality, innovation, and the newest trends.

Texhibition Istanbul Fabric and Textile Accessories Fair,This year’s successful March event is being followed up on with the forthcoming edition, which is being organized by İTKİB Fuarcılık A.�\. in collaboration with the Istanbul Textile Exporters Association (İTHİB). It is anticipated that some 25,000 tourists would arrive from more than 100 nations, including the USA, North Africa, the Middle East, Great Britain, and the European Union.

The industry’s market leaders, such as Almoda, Bahariye, BTD, Can Textile, Menderes, Sasa, Söktaş and Yünsa will be showcasing their wide range of high-quality products.

The Yarn Area has been established and expanded to include 41 exhibitors, with companies such as Karafiber, Iskur and Karteks showcasing the latest yarn developments.

With 25 firms including Bossa, İskur, Maritaş, and Kipaş, BlueBlackDenim offers a multifaceted variety that will once again highlight the newest denim trends. Texhibition Istanbul has established itself as a driving force in the international textile industry, a showcase for the latest developments in the world of organic, sustainable, recycled and ecological fabrics.

Texhibition Trend Areas 

The Texhibition Trend Areas are created by combination of standout qualities and creative themes of fabrics, yarns, denims and accessory products from the participants.

Designed by Texhibition’s creative director Idil Tarzi the areas offer valuable guidance for participants by highlighting the exhibitors’ product groups to explore, with thematic stories shaping the upcoming season and an inspiring architectural concept. With the trends of autumn / winter colors 25/26  thematising Fundamental Hues, Voguish Hues, Prominence Hues Tarzi emphasizes the need for a sustainable and environmentally friendly world.

Türkiye’s strength in the denim industry is highlighted in BlueBlackDenim,  where leading denim brands showcase the country’s expertise in this sector.  The trend area in the BlueBlackDenim section is curated by the founders of ALLDENIMS, Gönül Altunışık and Selvi Yiğci. The standout piece that captures the most attention in BlueBlackDenim is a denim dress created from waste fabrics of denim manufacturers, serving as an example of sustainable fashion approach.

renowned designer Arzu Kaprol and textile designer Filiz Tunca founded Innovation Hub. It highlights innovative works by individuals, trailblazing companies, tech parks, and global creative projects, all of which are influencing the future of textiles.

Conceptual artist Ecem Dilan Köse’s Digital Art performance highlights her proficiency with digital production methods including augmented reality. In her work, she incorporates concepts such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence/machine learning together with coding. Her stories are written with the intention of keeping a close relationship between technique and content. Her digital artwork, Cotton Flowers, focuses on the way nature’s beauty is changing. It tells the story of how the cotton flower begins its trip and changes into a multitude of designs and hues.

In the Installation Areas featuring yarn and accessory products, the concept of textile material and space is presented as a unified whole, offering an artistic approach that provides a fresh perspective on the concept of space.

Texhibition Trend Seminars 

Trend Seminars illuminate the future of the industry. The panels and seminars held during Texhibition are drawing considerable interest from the participating companies and visitors. Along with presentations that set industry trends, the fair will host discussions on the sector’s current agenda featuring expert speakers from various fields.
