Textile Today Innovation Hub recently organized the highly anticipated ‘TTH 8.0 National Conference- The Competition Day’ at Council Hall, IDEB, Kakrail to select 101 potential Innovation Masterminds.
The conference witnessed an overwhelming number of participants from various textile universities across the country.
The competition, which began on August 2 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka, involved video auditions, innovative idea auditions, and MCQ exams to identify the most promising talents.
Out of more than 250 students, 101 were chosen to move forward in the national competition. The top 25 participants were granted a prize money of Tk1.25 lakh. The selected Innovation Masterminds will receive professional and technical skills training worth Tk30 lakh from Textile Today Innovation Hub.
The IMs will have the opportunity to work on practical innovation projects at factories under the guidance of industry and academic experts.
At the completion of their projects, all 101 participants will be awarded the prestigious Innovation Black Belt.
The Textile Talent Hunt aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, offering innovative solutions to overcome challenges in the textile and apparel sector. With a total fund of Tk49 lakh allocated for training, research, and awards, the program seeks to drive growth and innovation in Bangladesh’s textile and garment industry.
