— 50 venture capital managers from across the country will address start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs during the summit

The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) will organise ‘Surat Start-Up Summit – 2023’ at Platinum Hall, Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sarasana, Surat during 27 to 29th October, 2023.
SGCCI Vice President Vijay Mewawala said, the idea behind organizing this three days event is to boost the start-up eco system in Surat and to bring awareness among the entrepreneurs.
As many as 55 start-ups will participate in this summit, 70% of which are from Surat. Apart from this, start-ups from Ahmedabad and Vadodara will also participate in this three days event. All these start-ups will exhibit their ideas. While the entire South Gujarat including Surat is a manufacturing hub, efforts are being made through this summit to make Surat a finance capital hub for the start-ups. Thousands of industrialists from all over the country have been invited to visit this summit.
The Inauguration ceremony of ‘Surat Start-up Summit- 2023’ will be held on 27th October, 2013 at 10:00 am. State Level Home and Industry Minister of Gujarat Harshbhai Sanghvi will inaugurate the summit and remain present as the chief guest. Commissioner of Technical Education, Gandhinagar, Government of Gujarat, Banchanadi Pani (IAS) will grace the occasion as the special Guest. Apart from this, Hiranmay Mahanta, CEO of Gujarat Start-Up and Innovation Hub (I-Hub) and Kamal Bansal, CEO of Gujarat Venture Finance Limited will also be present in the ceremony.
Start-ups entrepreneurs in the fields of solar energy, software technology, women’s health, diamond, architect and interior designing are participating in this summit. The road show of the Gujarat Vibrant Start-up Summit to be organized during the next December-2023 will also be organized in this summit.
The Chairman of the Start-ups and Innovation Committee of SGCCI, CA Mayank Desai said, 50 venture capital managers from across the country will address start-ups and start-up entrepreneurs in “Surat Start-up Summit – 2023”. Unicorns will also be present at the summit and will hold various sessions related to technology and artificial intelligence. About 1000 businessmen will visit this summit. Panel discussions on various topics will also be held during the three-day summit.
