Product Sustainability The Key Word For The Fashion Textiles Sector’s Relaunch

BERGAMO, ITALIA — RadiciGroup Advanced Textile Solutions makes its long-awaited return to the trade show circuit with Milano Unica, which takes place on the 6th and 7th of July at the Fiera Milano Rho exhibits zone.

RadiciGroup Advanced Textile Solutions – Apparel & Technical is showcasing its low environmental impact yarn line at Sistema Moda Italia. The Group has opted to concentrate on fashion textiles, one of the industries worst impacted by the epidemic, and to showcase its most creative and sustainable yarn solutions for the textiles industry. RadiciGroup will outfit a female manikin in clothing produced from the Biofeel PET yarn collection. A Bio-Materials Forum has been established in the Innovation Area, where Radici Group will showcase 7 textiles made with their revolutionary green yarn.
Repetable, a novel polyester yarn from RadiciGroup, is produced from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. The Group has also joined the online marketplace e-Milano Unica Connect, where buyers, designers, and industry operators may access its product range and contacts. “We feel that, in the fashion sector, collaboration among enterprises is becoming increasingly important to facilitate the transfer of the added value of products made in Europe to the final customer,” Mr. De Silvestri said.
