India is gearing up to host the world’s largest textiles event, “Bharat Tex 2024”.
In collaboration with industry bodies, the Indian textile industry is set to organize this grand exhibition, scheduled from 26th to 29th February, in New Delhi.
The event was officially unveiled by Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Textiles, Commerce, and Industry, Consumer Affairs, and Food and Public Distribution. The vision behind Bharat Tex 2024, representing India’s 5F approach, aims to highlight the country’s progress in the entire textile value chain from Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign.
The event will showcase India’s readiness to compete on a global level and produce world-class textile products.
Minister Goyal urged the industry to focus on building globally recognized brands while simultaneously developing “Brand India”. The ceremony unveiled the event logo, website, and video, emphasizing India’s strengths in the textile sector and its sustainability initiatives.
With over 1,000 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors from 40 countries, Bharat Tex 2024 will feature knowledge sessions, seminars, conferences, product launches, and strategic investment announcements.
It will also include live demonstrations, cultural events, fashion presentations, sustainability workshops, and expert talks.
