Design One, a flagship initiative of Sahachari Foundation Events, to launch an online platform

A not-for-profit initiative to promote creativity, entrepreneurship & philanthropy

August 11, 2020, Mumbai: Design One, one of the largest and most successful on-ground shopping exhibition initiatives of Sahachari Foundation Events announces the launch of its online platform, DesignOne Online. With this launch, Design One now becomes more accessible to customers as well as for brands to showcase their creativity and products.

The website will offer online shoppers an immersive experience with a wide selection of exclusive fashion and lifestyle products and is slated to go live with the much-awaited pre-Diwali sale.

Gauri Pohoomul, Committee Member, Sahachari Foundation said, “As an initiative aimed towards empowering entrepreneurs and promoting Indian brands, it is crucial that we innovate keeping with the current times and make the event accessible to shoppers in the safety of their homes. Design One is our most anticipated fund-raising event, which has received a tremendous response year on year. This year, with the launch of our online platform we hope to reach out to a wider market across a national canvas.”

Titled ‘The Diwali Edit’, the first online exhibition is expected to go live a month before the festival, offering buyers capsule collections in fashion and leisure wear, accessories,hildren’s wear, lifestyle products and gift items. These brands will not be available on other platforms thereby giving the shoppers an unmatched, tastefully curated shopping experience.

Design One Online will offer around 60 participating brands the opportunity to reach out to a burgeoning market and will also feature always-on brands that shoppers can access anytime. The platform will also see the participation of NGOs who will showcase their products. The website can be easily accessed via mobile as well as tablets/I pads.

All proceeds from Design One Online will go to charities supported by Sahachari Foundation.
