A momentous occasion occurred as the KPR Group of Companies-Women Employees Education Division commemorated its 10th Graduation Day Ceremony. Established 26 years ago, this division has played a crucial role in empowering female workers by providing them with opportunities for higher education. Benefitting a staggering 35,500 women employees to date, the division has undoubtedly made a significant impact.
The Graduation Day Ceremony, held at the esteemed Quantum Knit, 3rd Unit of the company, celebrated the accomplishments of 405 diligent women employees who received well-deserved recognition. Distinguished guests graced the event, including A. Anbarasu IAS, Principal Secretary of PWD, Commercial Tax & Water Board, Delhi Government, and Dr. K.P. Ramasamy, Chairman of KPR Mill Limited.
Notably, the event witnessed the virtual participation of Dr. Achyutha Samantha, Vice Chancellor of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar, and Rajya Sabha MP. Their presence only added to the significance of the ceremony.
In a remarkable achievement, three students secured the second rank in the Tamil Nadu Open University examinations for the BBA, BCA, and B.Com (CA) programs. Additionally, three other students achieved the second and third positions, showcasing their exceptional dedication and aptitude. These exceptional students were honored to receive their degrees and medals from the esteemed Shri. R.N. Ravi, Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu.
