Eruslu, a Turkish nonwovens provider, is expanding its spunlace product portfolio by adding a flexible NCR-NCA-NCR line, the first of its type in Turkey. Truetzschler Nonwoven supplied the line, which is designed to process virgin cotton fibres, comber noils, and short fibres at high rates. The finished product can range from high-quality, lightweight natural wipes to heavy-weight, three-layer nonwovens for cosmetic pads. It is expected to go into service in the second part of next year.
Erumlu is a Turkish firm that produces spunlace, which is a biodegradable product created from renewable materials. Last year, the business increased its product range by introducing a second NCR random and an NCA airlay card. It also boosted hydraulic power to hydroentangled multi-layer webs and extended the dryer to increase evaporation capacity.
