Epson Retain Market Leadership In Indian Inkjet Printer Market

The top spot in the Indian inkjet printer market for the calendar year 2022 (Jan-Dec) has been kept by Epson, a global leader in digital imaging and printing solutions. International Data Corporation (IDC), a provider of market intelligence, recently reported unit shipment data for its Worldwide Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker, Q42022, showing that Epson held a 39.3% market share of the inkjet printer industry (including both ink tank and cartridge printers). Over the course of this time, Epson shipped 853,572 printers.

According to Epson, both residential and commercial customers in India have accepted the EcoTank printers’ primary promise of being affordable and environmentally responsible. Heat-Free Technology, a ground-breaking innovation that uses less energy than Laser Printing, powers Epson’s line of EcoTank printers. saving money and the environment by not using printers.  The company claims that its selection of printers reflects its concept of utilising innovative technology that is effective, compact, and precise in order to improve people’s lives and contribute to a better society. With the first integrated Inktank system printers, Epson brought the idea of ink tank printing to the world in 2011. Epson EcoTank Printers will have been in India for 11 years in 2022. Up till December 2022, Epson sold more than 6 million EcoTank printers in India and more than 70 million printers globally.
