Eastman Exports Appoints Industry Veteran as CEO

Tiruppur, India – Eastman Exports, a leading name in India’s knitwear industry, has announced the appointment of Ritesh Kumar as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in the garment sector, Kumar brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

Before joining Eastman Exports, Kumar held a pivotal position as Senior Vice President at Shahi Exports. His expertise will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth and expansion plans.

A pioneer in the textile industry, Eastman Exports has evolved from a small dye house in the 1970s to become one of India’s largest vertically integrated textile manufacturers. Today, the company boasts 35 garment manufacturing units and produces over 100 million knitted garments annually. Known for its high-quality products, Eastman Exports caters to luxury brands worldwide, with the US being its primary market.

Kumar’s appointment marks a new chapter for Eastman Exports as it seeks to strengthen its position as a global leader in the knitwear sector.
