Bombay Dyeing clocks triple digit growth in Q2

Bombay Dyeing, has reported a 128.2 per cent revenue growth to Rs.495.5 crore in the second quarter (Q2) of FY22 ended on September 30, 2021, against the revenue of Rs.217.0 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal. However, the company’s net loss widened to Rs.93.3 crore compared to the loss of Rs.90.6 crore in the Q2 FY21.

During the three-month period, polyester segment’s sales more than doubled to Rs.384.2 crore (Rs.175.8 crore), while retail/textile segment’s sales slipped to Rs.4.0 crore (Rs.6.4 crore).

Moreover, the home textiles firm’s revenue for the first half of FY22 has leaped to Rs.876.4 crore (Rs.308.2 crore). Whereas loss for the six-month period has reduced to Rs.201.2 crore (Rs.219.9 crore).
