Germany has imported the first 100,000 protective clothing produced by textile companies in Albania, the German Embassy in Albanian capital Tirana has announced. This was made possible with the initiative and support of the ProSEED program funded by the German government and in cooperation with the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Albania.
The German initiative is aimed at helping the Albanian textile industry, which has been badly affected due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The protective clothing imported by Germany will be mainly used in the medical field, the German Embassy said in its announcement.
