New Delhi, October 7, 2023 – On a day of global significance as the world celebrates “World Cotton Day,” Federation of Indian Industry (FII) and All Indian Cotton FPO Association have come together to sign a transformative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This historic agreement, signed on October 7, 2023, on the occasion of World Cotton Day promises to bolster the Indian business sector and support the cotton industry, aligning with the global focus on cotton-related initiatives.
FII, a stalwart with a vast member base and a global presence through its international chapters, is
renowned for its mission of empowering Indian businesses with expanded outreach and invaluable
government-related support. On this World Cotton Day, their commitment to supporting the cotton industry gains even more significance.
Dr. Deepak Jain, Director-General-FII, highlighted the pivotal role played by the Indian business
community and how FII, with its extensive network and resources, is committed to providing them with the support they need to thrive in a dynamic business environment.
Sh. Manish Daga, President of All India Cotton FPO Association, expressed the association’s

The MoU was formally signed by Sh. Hitender Mehta, representing FII, and Sh. Manish Daga,
representing All Indian Cotton FPO Association. This partnership signifies a commitment to
