Together with Tailorlux GmbH, TURNS GmbH, a prominent player in the German circular textile market, aims to raise the bar for traceability and transparency in recycled cotton goods. By utilizing cutting-edge physical traceability technologies and European post-consumer textile waste to produce fully circular products, this partnership demonstrates their dedication to sustainability

In order to precisely track and validate the recycled content in textile products, the collaboration combines TURNS’s cutting-edge tracer fibers with Tailorlux’s high-resolution spectroscopy. This guarantees tangible verification at every stage, from fiber to yarn to fabric, offering unparalleled accountability and transparency. The project started at the German recycling facility ALTEX, where post-consumer trash is painstakingly sifted and turned into premium TURNS recycled fibers.

These environmentally friendly fibers are spun into yarn and knitted into eco-friendly textiles that are then used to create fashionable clothes that adhere to strict environmental regulations. Every garment has Tailorlux’s traceability technology incorporated into it, guaranteeing a clear and verifiable route from waste to finished product. This supports the wider objectives of a circular economy and encourages sustainable behavior.
