In order to support India’s progress, the FY 2024–25 budget places a strong emphasis on continuity and forward-thinking measures. Through its emphasis on employment, skill development, inclusivity, infrastructure, innovation, and reforms, it tackles contemporary issues and establishes the foundation for an economy driven by information. For progress to be sustained, women must participate in the workforce, and an ecosystem that is supportive and culturally congruent must be established.
The budget’s commitment to skilling 20 lakh youth over five years highlights the government’s dedication to nurturing young talent. Initiatives like providing internships to 1 crore youth in top companies, with financial support, bridge the gap between education and employment.

With more students having access to high-quality education and skill development programs, the model skill loan plan will be revised to allow loans up to ₹7.5 lakh, guaranteed by a government-promoted fund. This would increase the employability of the graduates and support the economic growth of the nation. The three programs that have been suggested to promote employment for fresh applicants would improve the job situation in the nation. Employers will be encouraged to hire new applicants by the wage subsidy for staff members and the support provided by the EPFO, and the formalization of employment will result from this connection.

We at ESSCI are prepared to back these endeavors and advance the development of the country. Our actions are in line with the government’s plan to promote social justice, economic growth, and sustainable development.
