Mumbai, 26 June 2025 – CCI Worldwide Logistics, the international freight division of CCI Group, has launched ‘Trans Africa’—a digitally powered freight service aimed at transforming cross-border logistics within Africa. With a strategic investment of ₹106 crore, the service is designed to handle an annual volume of 5,000 TEUs via air and sea, and offers an estimated return on investment (ROI) of 15%.

Targeting major African markets like Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, and Egypt—with further expansion planned across Francophone West Africa and landlocked nations like Uganda and Zambia—‘Trans Africa’ promises seamless logistics support.

Addressing core regional trade challenges like customs complexities, high logistics costs, and poor shipment visibility, the platform incorporates digital tools such as AI-enabled routing, real-time tracking, and digital customs clearance across 20+ countries.

The initiative aligns with the growing demand post-AfCFTA implementation and the projected rise in Africa’s maritime trade from 58 million to 132 million tonnes by 2030.

Satish Singh, Vice President – P&L at CCI Worldwide Logistics, stated, “The launch of Trans Africa is more than a service rollout—it’s a catalyst for trade growth and economic connectivity across the continent.”

With transparent pricing, localized features, and mobile-first functionality, ‘Trans Africa’ is positioned to support a wide array of customers—from exporters and e-commerce firms to NGOs and 3PLs—delivering not only goods but long-term trade empowerment.
